The Bureau de normalisation du Québec

| Founded in 1961, the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ)
is a member organization of the National Standards System of
Canada and operates in the fields of:
In addition, under an agreement reached with the SCC, the BNQ
has the authority to assess the laboratories in Québec that
wish to be accredited in the framework of the Testing Laboratory
Assessment Program — Canada (PALCAN)
The BNQ can also grant food safety certification according to
the HACCP principles (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control
Points) under an agreement with
MAPAQ.

Our mission
The Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) brings solutions to
market needs through the development of consensual standards by
balanced committees, the implementation of certification
programs and the registration of management systems. The BNQ
acts as a partner to business, industry, and public and
regulatory bodies for the purpose of improving the quality of
products, processes and services, as well as their acceptance in
all markets. |
