Hazardous Use of a Product
A certified product would be judged to be hazardous in any
of the following situations:
- The production method has become unsafe.
- A manufacturing defect has been detected.
- The product is gaining widespread use in applications
that were not foreseen when the standard or and other
recognized document was developed; such an application in
turn being one for which the product was not certified.
- No limiting scope has been provided by the company in
the document accompanying the product at point of sale.
