competitive chain of custody (CoC) and labelling systems

Work-Family Balance (WFB) Certification
program
 |
The Work-Family Balance (WFB) certification program applies
to any organization, regardless of its type, size or what
product or service it offers, seeking to obtain an
assessment by the BNQ on the conformity of the WFB
organizational practices it has implemented with regard to
the requirements of BNQ Standard 9700-820.
The Work-Family Balance (WFB) standard was developed by the
BNQ at the request of the Ministère de la Famille et des
Aînés. It stems from the Québec government policy “Turning
Equality in Law into De Facto Equality”. It is now possible
to obtain a copy of the
standard
(in English) and
details concerning the requirements for the certification
program (only in French), free-of-charge by clicking on
the document.
The certification process gets underway as follows:
1.
Once a service agreement has been reached, the
BNQ assigns a lead auditor who will first review the
company’s documentation and then send it an audit plan
designed to ensure that an effective audit is conducted;
2.
The BNQ auditor will then go to the company’s
premises to gather the evidence needed to demonstrate
that the requirements of the standard are fulfilled,
then forward, as the case may be, the certification
recommendation to the BNQ;
3.
A certificate of conformity, valid for a period
of 4 years, will be issued to the company following the
review of the information in the file and final approval
by the BNQ’s program manager;
4.
An audit will be conducted very two years to
ensure maintenance of the conformity of the WFB
organizational practices implemented. At the end of the
initial 4-year certification cycle, the BNQ will send
the CLIENT another service contract to start a new
certification cycle.
Any organization wishing to obtain
certification may contact the BNQ at any time, by phone at
1-800-386-5114, by email at
bnqes@bnq.qc.ca
or electronically using the
certification application form, for more information on
the steps, requirements and costs associated with this
program. |
