Searching for terms in the catalogue in PDF format
The Find command allows you to identify a part or all of a
word listed in the catalogue. Acrobat Reader searches for
terms by examining all the words on each page of the
catalogue. To select a term:
- Click the Find button
or choose Find from the Edit menu.
- In the text space provided, enter the term (s) you are
interested in.
- Where necessary, select from among the following
search options:

Searches for all hits on the
complete word in the text. For example, if you are
seeking the term "fish", the words
"fishing" and "fish out" will
not be highlighted.

Searches only for words that contain
the uppercase and lowercase formats specified in the
text space.

Begins the search at the current page
and searches previous pages back to the beginning of
the document.

- Click the Find button. Acrobat Reader then
searches for the first hit on the term.

Searching for the next hit on the term

- In the Edit menu choose > Find
Again.
- In the Find dialogue box, click Find Again. (The
term to locate must already be specified in the text
space).

| To go to a page
If you have located a standard using the numerical or
alphabetical list, you may go directly to the desired page by:
- scrolling the vertical scroll bar until the page number
sought is displayed;
- selecting the active page number on the status bar,
entering the page number sought and then clicking ENTER;
- going to the Document menu > going to the page,
entering the page number sought and clicking OK.
