NEW: ISO 14034 Environmental Technology Verification Standard

A new ISO environmental technology verification standard should be published in mid-summer 2016 and adopted by Canada toward the end of 2016.

This is a reliable and objective evaluation process to verify the environment performance claims of innovative technologies and technological processes. A description of an independent third-party verification mechanism is included. The desired results of this new standard are the enhancement of the suppliers’ credibility and the buyers’ confidence by offering the market the assurance that environmental performance claims are valid and credible.
