NOTICE
Applicant Bank: External Experts, submit your application!

Water treatment technology committees (drinking water/domestic wastewater) have been created by the Ministère de l’Environnement, de la Lutte contre les changements climatiques, de la Faune et des Parcs (MELCCFP) to validate the performance tests applied to these technologies or these dosing equipments. These committees are composed of representatives from MELCCFP.

The validation procedures for drinking water and domestic wastewater treatment technologies as well as additional information about the water treatment technology performance validation procedure are available from the MELCCFP Web site. These procedures describe the steps to follow when validating the performance of a technology or a dosing equipment and to publish technical fact sheets on the BNQ Web site.

Since January 1st, 2014, the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) has coordinated the committees’ activities (drinking water/domestic wastewater).

BNQ procedures describing the process to follow in validating performance for the purpose of having the BNQ distribute a technical fact sheet concerning a technology or a dosing equipment are as follows:

  • BNQ 9922-200 Drinking-Water and Domestic-Wastewater Treatment Technologies - Performance Validation - Administrative Procedure
  • BNQ 9922-201 Drinking-Water and Domestic-Wastewater Treatment Technologies - External Experts' Skills Recognition for the Analysis of Requests for Performance Validation of Treatment Technologies
